Well its been awhile since I have posted anything. As many know that know me, I am a huge wrestling fan. I have been since I was a kid and that hasn't changed. This past weekend I went with my son to Nashville, which is 2-2 1/2 hours down the road. I took him to his first Ring of Honor (ROH) and my first show. I have to say after being a life time WWE fan, being to numerous events including Raw, Smackdown and Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta, this has to be the best experience I have been to for a wrestling show. My son got to meet and do a selfie with Rodrick Strong, met Matt Sydal, the former Evan Bourne, and Moose. We seen Jay Briscoe, and others waiting outside the arena.
The arena was small and according to the dirt sheet websites there was about 800 fans there. Maybe but it was packed. Great matches too. But with everyone being accessible it made so much more fun. My son has turned to love ROH now, for the pure wrestling he seen. I hope that I can show him more and keep him interested. With Best in the World in NYC on June 19th, and a stacked show coming up. I think it will be great to watch something I have loved better than the stale WWE with him.
